My Solitaire style ring holds the large rectangular centre stone. Each of the double claw wire collets I have sharpened by hand into hearts clutching the stone at all her corners and completed with diamond teardrops on either side of the collet. The asymmetry of the pigeon claws contrasts with the perfection of the central structure in the most pleasing way. There is a subtle mix of white and yellow gold in the piece too. 

MATERIALS: deep pink tourmaline, diamond teardrops, 9ct yellow and white gold.
