To design Ronan's engagement ring he sent me a few photographs of his girlfriends ring collection and a list of her favourite colours. The centre stone is a square cushion cut tourmaline with a selection of clashing and complimentary stones growing up around her. I added one small diamond to the side as a tiny jewellery 'fuck you' to the traditional engagement ring.
