I've been experimenting with my new Solitaire style ring and come up with this special ten-claw collet to hold the emerald-cut centre stone. Each of the wire collets claws I have sharpened by hand into points clutching the stone at all her corners. Of course, completed with diamond teardrops either side of the collet. The subtle mix of white and yellow gold in the handmade collet really compliments the cool and warm tones of the huge Colombian emerald that she holds.
