EXPERIENCED BENCH JEWELLER

Part-time - 2-3 days per week (additional hours available during busy periods) 

Starting wage: £22 per/hour - with holiday and sick pay.

Optional PAYE salary including pension after trial period

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced jeweller to join our small workshop team lovingly hand making my jewellery from start to finish in small batches. You need to have a minimum of three years workshop experience and be proficient in both cast and handmade jewellery making techniques. You need the ability to understand and review production to help create efficient workflow. Needs to have a broad range of jewellery making skills to assist in creating both collection and one-off jewellery pieces from start to finish.

Proficient at cleaning up casting quickly and accurately to a high standard 
Soldering gold and silver
Filing and finishing
Pre-polish prep and polishing
Sizing and resizing rings
Spruing masters ready to mould
Good time management and production planning
Quality control and communication skills 
Organised and self-lead, reliable with a keen eye for detail
Enjoy working as part of a small team
